I don't want to start off on the wrong foot, so I'll say that yes, I do like this song. It just doesn't make a whole bunch of sense to me, and has a bit of inconsistencies. Let's jump right in, shall we?
The song starts with Jon coming in, and saying that if the audience is not drunk, they should get ready to "get fucked up. Let's do it. Haha." He sounds like a person is laughing when trying to pass off an awkward joke. "I'm not gonna leave a tip because it's like a fast food place, right? Haha...."
You know how in some songs, the featured artist says their name in the beginning of the song? For example, in "Just Dance" by Lady Gaga, Akon says "Konvict" at the beginning, and Lady Gaga says "Gaga." A simple plug, but a plug no less.
This song begins with "Lil' Jon" saying "LMFAO" and "Lil' Jon," after which we hear "Yeah!" in his voice, which, if thought about, would sound like there are 2 of this screaming man in the studio. A scary thought, since he already sounds as if he's screaming every word so far.
Before the main body of the song starts with "Redfoo" singing a verse, Jon says "let's do it! yeah!" The song has barely even started, we don't know what it's going to be about, and he already seems to be having a seizure of delight.
During Redfoo's verse, he says "all drinks are free." ..why? Who's paying? Is he? Because this is LMFAO's first album, so they can't be that rich yet. The only income they've had so far is off of their other single from the album, "I'm in Miami Bitch." In the music video, there are a LOT of people there, and unless he's got a serious drinking problem, I don't think he'd be that willing to spend so much money on alcohol.
During the chorus of this song, which is just the word "shots" shouted over and over, Jon shouts "EVERYBODAY!" Which then begins another shouting of "shots." We know there are more people, for we can plainly hear their voices shouting the word. After this second shouting, Jon shouts "EVERYBODAY!" again, but the chorus ends. Is this an awkward moment where he wants to continue, but no one else does? Did he make a mistake? Impossible. He'll just play it off like that was supposed to happen.
Throughout the song, we hear more of Jon's pretentious 'YEAH' s, and a more on beat 'hey' from LMFAO. Also introduced hear is Jon going "AW HAW!" as in approval to some unknown entity.
LMFAO goes into the next verse, saying that "the ladies love us when we pour shots. They need an excuse to suck our cocks." Now...if they only love you when you pour shots, they wouldn't need an excuse, because they wouldn't want to originally!
Jon in the next verse says all of the following, and at the end, saying "get the fuck out the club:"
IF YOU AIN'T GETTIN' DRUNK
IF YOU AIN'T TAKIN' SHOTS
IF YOU AIN'T COME TO PARTY
What about the guy that came just to hang out to see what a club is like? He doesn't know you're all a bunch of crazy drunk lunatics. He doesn't know he's supposed to get ass drunk. He's just here to experiment. Your're kicking him out, so he'll have a skewed view of clubs starting now until he dies.
He then proceeds to ask where "his" alcoholics are at. I thought America made it illegal to own a person like..a LONG time ago? Is that just me? He asks them to put their hands up, then asks what they're drinking. He doesn't want them to say it though. He does it for them.
They were in fact drinking:
Jager Bombs (a shot of Jägermeister into a glass of Red Bull.)
Lemon Drops (vodka, lemon juice and sugar)
Buttery Nipples (with DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur and Irish cream)
Jell-O Shots (watermelon jell-o, water and Malibu coconut rum)
Kamikaze (two to one parts Vodka, Triple Sec and lemon juice)
3 Wise Men (2/3 oz Jack Daniel's 2/3 oz Jim Beam 2/3 oz Jose Cuervo)
Which, are obviously all very very alcoholic drinks. In the music video during those drink listings, LMFAO and Jon hold a shot glass on what looks like braided and twisted knotted hair. Jon looks like 12 year old saying "nipples" for the first time, because he looks so shy afterwards.
But it doesn't matter. He says "fuck all dat shit. Get me some gin!"
...fuck all dat shit? HE ASKED WHAT THEY WERE DRINKING! Then he just blatantly says "fuck that" and goes for just straight gin.
One of the 3 singers then asks all of the drunks, and all of the people trying to fuck to put their hands up. Drunk people aren't very likely to put their hands in the air in the first place, and if you're having sex, why would you want people to know?
He then makes them say, "I'm fucked up, I'm trying to fuck." Now that seems the most realistic. The people that are trying to have sex are telling him to shut up, and let the screw.
They then go on to sing the synth theme of the song in a semi drunk, and careless way. As if they don't care about the lyrics, they're just singing the synth.

Despite all the horrible inconsistencies, and nonsensical lyrics of shots, I still think it's a good catchy song.
This blog post brought to you by LMFAO and Lil' Jon for being so damn drunk.
